The short version

EGT runs World Cup service on a two-vehicle premium fleet — one BMW i7 and one Cadillac Escalade IQ-L — and every San Diego SoFi date draws from those same two cars. The June 12 opener sold out in five minutes; June 15, June 18 and June 25 are gone. Demand has pushed the knockout-round rates up: July 2 Round of 32 — i7 $400 / IQ-L $500, and July 10 Quarterfinal — i7 $600 / IQ-L $700. We keep a waitlist, but there have been zero cancellations to date — so don't count on a sold-out date opening up. Book an open date now. Call (858) 522-0264.

High-demand pricing — July 2 & July 10

The two knockout dates are the highest-demand transportation days on the San Diego–SoFi calendar, and pricing now reflects that. All rates are flat round trips from metro San Diego — door pickup, curbside drop at the venue, a staged driver through the match, and a return that leaves when you do. Rate locked at booking; no surge after.

July 2 — Round of 32$400 round trip$500 round trip
July 10 — Quarterfinal$600 round trip$700 round trip

Even at premium rates, a confirmed door-to-curb round trip removes the $250–$300 FIFA parking pass, the 21-minute walk from the lot, 60–120 minutes of post-match egress, and the 125-mile drive home after a long day.

How the waitlist works — and why "open now" beats "waitlisted"

For every sold-out date we keep a cancellation waitlist and confirm requests strictly in the order they arrive — your timestamp is your place in line. But be realistic about the odds: we have had zero cancellations so far this tournament. A two-vehicle fleet that's already committed rarely frees up.

The practical takeaway: if the date you want still shows a vehicle open, book it today. If it's sold out, get on the waitlist — but also tell us your backup date, because waiting on a full match is the least reliable path to a ride. The people who get the car are the ones who book early. Right now, group-stage dates are booking about 4–5 days ahead and knockout dates roughly two weeks out — at this pace the few open dates won't stay open long.
