1. The ride home after a procedure
San Diego facilities publish that a rideshare is not acceptable after sedation, and the escort requirement is federal: the center must discharge your parent in the company of a responsible adult (42 CFR §416.52). That adult is you, a sibling or a friend — never the driver. We drive your parent and their escort, both ways, for one number; the escort rides free. 2. The airport — when they visit you, and when they fly home
Give us the flight number. We track the landing, meet your parent at the arrivals curb with a name placard, help with the luggage and drive them straight to your door or theirs. For the flight home, the car is at their house at the time we agree, and you know it left. 3. The ordinary week — dinner, church, appointments
The dentist on Thursday, church on Sunday, dinner with old friends, the hairdresser, a grandchild’s game. One flat zone fare per leg, or $175 per hour in the BMW i7 for a multi-stop afternoon — pharmacy, lunch, a visit, home — with the driver waiting between stops.
4. When a parent stops driving

How it works when you live out of town
- You book, from anywhere. Call, text or use the form with your parent’s name, the pickup, the destination and the time. You get one flat number — no surge — and we confirm by text.
- You know who is coming. A named, background-checked driver. You can request the same driver each time, so the Tuesday ride is the same face at the door.
- The driver comes to the door. Helps with the door and the bags; a folding walker stows in the back. The BMW i7 has a low step-in height; the Escalade IQ-L a higher seating position.
- You hear about it. If you want a text when your parent is picked up and another when they are dropped off, say so when you book and the driver sends both.
- You pay after the ride. No deposit and no card on file — you pay when the ride is complete. If your parent prefers to pay themselves, that works too.

What we are, and what we are not — read this before you book
We are a licensed passenger carrier, not a medical transport service. Elite Green Transportation holds California CPUC charter-party carrier permit TCP #0046494-A and carries $1.5M commercial liability insurance. We carry ambulatory passengers — people who can walk to the car and sit in an ordinary seat. We cannot be your parent’s “responsible adult” at a discharge; a paid driver does not satisfy that requirement. We drive your parent and their escort. We never claim to be the escort.

Can I book and pay for my parent’s rides in San Diego from out of state?
Yes. Call, text or use the form with your parent’s name, pickup, destination and time. Will you tell me when my mother has been picked up and dropped off?

Can my parent have the same driver each time?
You can request the same driver each time. Elite Green Transportation is owner-operated with a small named-driver team, so a standing weekly ride usually means the same face at the door — and your parent knows who is coming.
Can the driver be my father’s responsible adult after a colonoscopy or cataract surgery?
No. Federal law (42 CFR §416.52) requires an ambulatory surgery center to discharge a patient in the company of a responsible adult, and a paid driver does not satisfy that. We drive your parent and their escort, both ways, for one number — the escort rides free. We are a licensed passenger carrier, not a medical transport service.
How much is a ride for my parent in San Diego?
