TL;DR
Buena Vista Social Club at the San Diego Civic Theatre — April 13 – April 18, 2027, touring Broadway, presented by Broadway San Diego. The Civic Theatre sits in the downtown Civic Center, where city garages and metered lots (Civic Center garage, ACE/Wells Fargo lots) fill on show nights and the whole audience exits at once after curtain. EGT marquee flat round trip from anywhere in metro San Diego: $130 BMW i7 (2, $65/seat) · $160 Rivian R1S (up to 4, $40/seat) · $190 Escalade IQ-L (up to 5, $38/seat). Curb drop at the door, driver staged nearby, rolls when you text. Each vehicle runs one round trip per event night — drop at the gate, then a staged pickup about 30–45 minutes after it ends. Show night at the San Diego Civic Theatre — what actually happens
The San Diego Civic Theatre is the downtown Civic Center home of Broadway San Diego, at 1100 Third Ave in the heart of downtown. On a touring-Broadway night the surrounding city garages and metered lots — the Civic Center garage and the ACE / Wells Fargo lots among them — fill up early, and a Broadway evening usually pairs with a Gaslamp dinner and a drink first.
When the curtain comes down, the whole audience walks out at once and the garages and downtown one-ways jam at the same moment. EGT drops you at the door, stages the driver nearby, and rolls when you text — no garage spiral, no metered-lot scramble, no driving downtown after a glass of wine.
Why a car wins this night: no parking hunt, no post-show egress crawl, no surge pricing right when the show lets out — and no one in your party has to skip a drink to drive home. The flat rate covers the whole night, both legs, with no hourly clock.
Run dates per the Broadway San Diego (broadwaysd.com); confirm performance times on the official schedule. Checked .
Why book EGT instead of driving or rideshare
- No parking: The Civic Theatre sits in the downtown Civic Center, where city garages and metered lots (Civic Center garage, ACE/Wells Fargo lots) fill on show nights and the whole audience exits at once after curtain.
- No surge: rideshare spikes the moment a venue empties; EGT's rate is published and flat for every rider.
- Sober ride home: enjoy the show and a drink — your named driver handles the round trip.
- Skip the egress crush: your driver is staged nearby and rolls when you text, not after a long lot or rideshare wait.
- Group value: for five riders the Escalade IQ-L is just $38 per seat, round trip, door to door.
