TL;DR
CROI 2027 (Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections) runs March 21 – March 24, 2027 at the San Diego Convention Center, which the convention center calendar lists at about 4,000 attendees. A major international scientific conference on HIV and infectious disease. EGT covers the meeting at flat rates: $65 flight-tracked SAN ↔ downtown hotel, $65 to the convention center from across central San Diego, and $175/hr charter (2-hr min) for teams and client dinners — 100% electric, named driver, no surge. Meeting-week logistics
A multi-day meeting on the waterfront means the same waves every time: arrivals stack up at SAN the day before, the Gaslamp and the bayfront hotels fill every evening, and everyone leaves at once on the last afternoon. Rideshare surges with each wave; EGT's rates are flat and published. Pre-book both airport legs with flight tracking, and pre-book the closing-day ride before the hall empties onto Harbor Drive.
For exhibitors and teams: the $175/hr charter keeps a named driver and a clean electric vehicle with your group for client dinners, offsite meetings and receptions, with expense-ready receipts.
Dates and attendance per the San Diego Convention Center calendar; confirm program details with the organizer. Checked .
