What to send us
One message with these seven things is a confirmed booking:
- Guest name, and a mobile number we can text on the day
- Arrival airport, flight number and scheduled landing time
- Date — and the return leg if you know it
- Number of adults
- Ages of any children (this changes the vehicle and the law — see below)
- Destination address
- Anything that changes the vehicle: oversized luggage, golf clubs, mobility equipment
If a detail is still unknown, say so — we will hold the vehicle and confirm when you have it. What we send back is the vehicle, the driver’s name and the flat rate, in writing, so you have something to forward to your client.
The car seat conversation, before it becomes a problem
This lands hardest on overseas guests. The UK explicitly does exempt licensed taxis and minicabs, so British families reasonably assume the same applies here and leave the seat at home to save a bag. There is no lawful fix available at the kerb from any operator in California. Passed on at the time of booking, it is a packing note. Discovered on arrival, it is a ruined first hour of someone’s holiday. The full explanation, with the statutes on both sides, is on our page for families visiting from the UK — it is written to be forwarded to a client as-is.
What we publish
Every figure below is fixed at booking. No surge, no night rate, no airport surcharge, no late-arrival penalty, and the same number whether your guest books or you do.

The constraint you need to know about
Elite Green Transportation is principal-operated: the owners drive, and the fleet is three all-electric vehicles rather than a dispatch pool. That is the reason the service is what it is — the person meeting your guest is the person whose name is on the licence — and it is also a hard ceiling on volume.
Practically: a given date holds a finite number of round trips, and San Diego event dates and SoFi Stadium nights sell out weeks ahead. We publish live per-date availability on our event pages and keep a public dated record of every sell-out. If you are placing a booking around a concert, a game or a convention, earlier is materially better. And if we cannot cover a date properly, you will get a clear no in time to arrange something else — which is worth more to you than a yes we cannot keep.
Verifying us for a client file

- 100% electric fleet — BMW i7 xDrive60, Rivian R1S, Cadillac Escalade IQ-L — relevant if your client has a sustainability policy to satisfy

How does a travel agent or concierge book Elite Green Transportation for a guest?
Call or text (858) 522-0264 with the guest name, arrival airport, flight number and date, party size, the ages of any children, and the destination address. We confirm the vehicle, the named driver and the flat rate back to you in writing before the guest travels. There is no trade account to open, no portal to log into and no minimum volume.
Do you offer trade or net rates to agents?
Our published flat rates are the rates — the same figure for a guest booking directly and for an agent booking on their behalf. We do not run a two-tier price list. If you need a different commercial arrangement for a specific programme, speak to the owner directly rather than assuming one exists.
What do you need from me to confirm a booking?
Guest name and a mobile number we can text on the day; arrival airport, flight number and scheduled landing time; number of adults and the ages of any children; destination address; and anything that changes the vehicle choice — oversized luggage, golf clubs, a wheelchair, a car seat. If a detail is still unknown we will hold the vehicle and confirm when you have it.
Do you supply child car seats for guests travelling with children?
No. We do not supply, fit or install child car seats under any circumstances. California requires a restraint for every child under 8 or under 4 feet 9 inches, and there is no exemption for licensed car services — so a family travelling with young children must bring and fit their own. This catches overseas guests in particular, because the UK does exempt licensed taxis. Please pass it on at the time of booking, not on the day.
How far ahead should I book for a client?
Two to four weeks for ordinary arrivals, and considerably further for event dates. Elite Green Transportation is principal-operated with a small all-electric fleet — the owners drive — so a date holds a finite number of round trips. Marquee event dates in San Diego and at SoFi Stadium routinely sell out weeks ahead. We will tell you plainly when a date is full rather than take a booking we cannot honour.
What happens if my client's flight is delayed?
The driver tracks the inbound flight and adjusts. Meet-and-greet inside at baggage claim is included at no charge, and there is no late-arrival penalty or surge added afterwards — the rate quoted at booking is the rate charged. If a delay pushes an arrival into a slot we cannot cover, we tell you as soon as we know rather than at the kerb.
How do I verify you for duty-of-care purposes?
Elite Green Transportation holds California TCP #0046494-A, which is searchable in the CPUC public carrier lookup, and carries $1.5M commercial liability insurance. The company was founded by a law-enforcement officer and is woman-owned and Choctaw Nation-owned. We are happy to provide a certificate of insurance for a corporate or agency file on request.
Can you handle a multi-day itinerary or an as-directed day?
Yes. As-directed hire is $175 per hour in the BMW i7 or $200 per hour in an SUV, with a two-hour minimum — the same named driver stays with the party, which matters for families with car seats already fitted. Point-to-point legs are published flat rates. For a multi-day programme, send the outline and we will tell you honestly what one vehicle can and cannot cover.
Elite Green Transportation is inbound-only: we do not cold-call, and we do not market to your clients. A guest we carry on your instruction remains your client.
