Convention week is surge season
Every major show at the Convention Center — the medical meetings, the tech conferences, Comic-Con — floods SAN with simultaneous arrivals, and app pricing responds exactly as designed. A locked flat rate booked when your travel is ticketed simply opts your team out: the price on the receipt is the price that was quoted, whichever day of the show you land.

How teams use it
- The 5-and-under group: one Escalade IQ-L, $105 flat, everyone and the booth luggage together — about $21 a head.
- Delegations of 6+: we dispatch multiple vehicles with coordinated pickups — a 10-person team lands across two IQ-Ls for ~$210 total, arriving together.
- Split arrivals: colleagues on different flights get individually flight-tracked cars; nobody waits at the curb for anyone.
- Clean expensing: one receipt per vehicle, corporate billing available — the full conventions hub covers multi-day programs.
Frequently asked
How much is a group car from SAN to the Convention Center?
$105 flat in the Escalade IQ-L for up to 5 passengers with luggage — about $21 per colleague for the 10-15 minute run. A party of 4 takes the Rivian R1S at $85; two travelers take the BMW i7 at $65. Rates are Zone 1 flats: locked at booking, flight-tracked, no surge even during major conventions.
We are a team of 10 — how does that work?
Two coordinated vehicles — typically two Escalade IQ-Ls at $105 each, about $210 total — dispatched to arrive together, or staggered to match different flights. Each vehicle books up to 5 passengers; tell us the roster and we plan the split.
Can each vehicle get its own receipt for expenses?
Yes — one clean receipt per vehicle, and corporate billing is available for multi-ride programs. Many teams book the full show week (arrivals, a client dinner, departures) as one arrangement.
Does convention-week surge affect the price?
No. The rate is locked when you book — during Comic-Con week and the biggest medical meetings, when app prices at SAN spike hardest, the locked flat is unchanged. That differential is usually largest exactly when your whole industry lands at once.
