Not yet announced: kickoff time. The official calendar lists the time as TBA. EGT does not publish a guessed kickoff — your pickup time is set the moment the real one is published, and the rate you booked does not move when it is.

The rate, and why there are only four
EGT is an owner-operated all-electric fleet of four vehicles: the BMW i7, the Rivian R1S, and two Escalade IQ-Ls. Every vehicle runs one round trip per event. For a normal SoFi date that is comfortable supply. For the Super Bowl it is the entire inventory for the single most contested Sunday of the year.

Drive yourself vs. one flat rate
SoFi parking is pre-purchased and sold separately from any ride, and for a Super Bowl it is the scarcest and priciest parking the venue sells all year. EGT will not print a number for it, because Super Bowl lot pricing is not published this far out — but the rest of the math does not depend on it.
Driving yourself on Super Bowl Sunday means roughly 5 to 9 hours of your own driving round trip including the post-game egress, a parking purchase on top, and fuel. The public-transit alternative is real but long: train-plus-bus from San Diego runs about 4h37m each way at $35–$85, and the last legs do not line up with a stadium egress after a night game.

Getting out of SoFi — the part nobody plans for
A Super Bowl egress is not a concert egress. Roughly 70,000 people leave one site inside the same hour, into an Inglewood street grid that is already managed for the event. Rideshare surges hardest exactly when everyone wants it, and the sanctioned pickup zones sit a walk away from the gates.
EGT does not dispatch after the whistle. Your driver is already staged nearby and comes to the agreed point when you text that you are walking out — whether that is twenty minutes after the confetti or two hours after, because you stayed for the party. The wait is inside the rate.

Getting out of SoFi — the part nobody plans for
Direct answer: the hard part of a SoFi show is not the drive up, it is the ninety minutes after the last song. SoFi sells parking in advance and the on-site price rises on event days; there is no re-entry, no in-and-out and no overnight parking, so the entire lot leaves in one wave, and the rideshare apps price that wave accordingly. A pre-booked round trip removes the wave from your evening: your driver is already staged, the wait is inside the flat rate, and you leave when you are ready rather than when an app finds someone.
What EGT actually does on a show night
- We do not park in the stadium lots. Your driver drops you at the gate, then stages off-site, clear of the exit lanes — not in the queue you would be sitting in.
- You text when you stand up, not when you reach the curb. That head start is the whole game: the car is moving toward a named meeting point while the crowd is still on the concourse.
