The course
Aviara Golf Club is the Arnold Palmer–designed course at the Park Hyatt Aviara resort in Carlsbad — flowers, eucalyptus, and conditioning that photographs like a postcard. It’s the round San Diego golf trips get built around when Torrey Pines tee times don’t break your way, and many say the better resort experience outright.
Flat rates
| Vehicle | Flat rate, each way (Zone 3) |
|---|---|
| BMW i7 (2 passengers, 2 bags stacked) | $95 |
| Rivian R1S (4 passengers, 4 bags flat) | $115 |
| Escalade IQ-L (5 passengers, bags + luggage) | $135 |
Same rate from the airport, downtown, or any central hotel — every leg prices by its destination’s zone on our standard ladder. No golf surcharge, no surge.
Round trips: two scheduled one-ways, no hourly meter
We don’t bill you by the hour to idle in a parking lot. Book a drop-off, then a scheduled return at the time you set — each leg a flat rate priced by its destination zone, locked at booking. Your driver is back at the bag stand when you said, every time.
Clubs
Clubs ride inside, always. BMW i7: two bags, stacked in the trunk — disclosed upfront, because some golfers prefer bags never touch. Rivian R1S: a foursome’s four bags, flat, no stacking. Details: do my golf clubs fit?
The honest comparison
If you’re staying at Park Hyatt Aviara itself, the course is on property — you don’t need a car service to reach your tee time, and we’d rather say that than sell you a ride you don’t need. Where we fit: the SAN airport legs with clubs (the R1S takes bags and luggage without stacking), the downtown-based golfer making the Carlsbad pilgrimage, and the dinner run back down the coast when nobody wants to drive after the round.
All courses, all rates, the family-trip playbook: San Diego golf trip car service hub.
Frequently asked
How much is a car service from San Diego airport to Aviara Golf Club?
Flat $95 in the BMW i7, $115 in the Rivian R1S, $135 in the Escalade IQ-L, each way — Carlsbad is Zone 3 on our standard ladder. About 35 minutes up I-5 from SAN, meet-and-greet included.
Do I need a car service if I'm staying at Park Hyatt Aviara?
Not for the golf — the course is on the resort property. Guests book us for the airport transfer with clubs, coastal dinner runs, and side trips; your tee time is a short on-property walk or the resort’s own house transport.
Will you pick me up after my round at Aviara?
Yes — book the return as a second scheduled one-way at whatever time you set. No hourly wait meter.
Do golf clubs fit in the vehicles?
Two bags stacked in the i7 (we disclose that upfront), four bags flat in the R1S, bags plus luggage in the IQ-L. Always inside the vehicle.
Who designed Aviara Golf Club?
Arnold Palmer — it's the only Palmer-designed course in the San Diego area, operated with the Park Hyatt Aviara resort in Carlsbad.
