GroundLink Premier (groundlinkpremier.com, (858) 214-9819, footer “GroundLink Group”) describes itself as executive airport transportation in San Diego since 2023 with 10,000-plus travelers served, an “AI-powered” booking system, and a fleet of 2024–2025 Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac and BMW sedans and SUVs, executive Sprinter vans and motor coaches. Elite Green Transportation (EGT, elitegreentransportation.com, (858) 522-0264) is a separate operator founded in September 2024: San Diego’s only 100% electric licensed car service for SAN airport, three vehicles — BMW i7 xDrive60, Rivian R1S, Cadillac Escalade IQ-L — California TCP #0046494-A, $1.5M commercial liability, Native American–owned (Choctaw Nation) and woman-owned. Both are 858 numbers; check which one you are calling.

Read the SUV column honestly. EGT’s Rivian R1S ($85–$115, up to four passengers) is under GroundLink’s SUV on every row. EGT’s five-seat Escalade IQ-L ($105–$135) is $5–$20 above GroundLink’s six-seat SUV inside the 10-mile zone (Downtown, the Gaslamp, Little Italy, Mission Valley, Pacific Beach, Coronado, Chula Vista, La Mesa, La Jolla) and $10–$36 below it from Del Mar outward. GroundLink’s sedan seats three; EGT’s i7 seats two.

When GroundLink Premier is the right choice
- Six or more people in one vehicle. Their SUV seats six, the Sprinter fourteen, and they run motor coaches. EGT tops out at five in the IQ-L — for a single-vehicle party of six-plus, book them (or ask EGT for a two-car move).
- You want to be met inside at baggage claim with a name sign. GroundLink includes it. EGT is curbside by design: faster off the plane, but no sign.
- Palm Springs or Long Beach Airport by sedan. Their published $454 (PSP) and $367 (LGB) are under EGT’s $475 and $375.
- Sprinter or coach logistics for conventions and cruise groups.
When EGT is the right choice
- Every neighborhood-to-SAN transfer both companies publish. $10 to $54 less per trip on their own numbers, with the driver’s gratuity already inside EGT’s.
- A guaranteed electric car — not one electric sedan in a gasoline fleet.
- LAX with four or five people. $425 is the same price in the R1S or the IQ-L; GroundLink’s $425 is its sedan figure.
- John Wayne, Ontario, Burbank and the cruise pier — $16, $82, $84 and $10 less respectively.
- Verifiable on paper. TCP #0046494-A and $1.5M liability on every page; a named driver confirmed in advance; availability, including sold-out dates, published per event.
