SoFi Stadium holds 70,000 for FIFA's configuration, and the tournament eliminates much of the normal parking supply: regular Hollywood Park lots are repurposed for FIFA hospitality, sponsor activations, and credentialed operations (Source: The Athletic, Feb 2026). What remains sells through the official FIFA portal at $250–$300, months in advance for the marquee dates. There are no walk-up sales on any match day.

$1.75 with a TAP card to Westchester/Veterans, then a 10–15 minute walk to the south gate (Metro World Cup service). Honest and cheap — but it solves the last three miles, not the 125 from San Diego, and post-match platforms surge like the lots do.
SpotHero/ParkWhiz listings from ~$48 to $151 for high-demand matches. No connection service to the gates, no official operation, and walks of up to two miles each way. If you go this route, map the exact lot-to-gate route before you pay.
Drop-off at the sanctioned zone works. The return is the problem: 2–4× surge projections, $80–150+ post-match premiums, 45+ minute waits at Kareem Court — for a 125-mile fare at midnight that drivers can decline.
Staging: your driver drops at the sanctioned drop zone, then positions 1–2 miles out at a charging/staging location during the match. Return: when you walk out — immediately, or after a post-match dinner in West LA while the parking lots empty themselves. Many guests sleep the whole way back to San Diego.
