The Forum is the easy arrival — and the hard entry
Arriving at the Kia Forum is the most forgiving experience of Inglewood's four venues. Where SoFi Stadium routes every vehicle to Kareem Court and Intuit Dome permits drop-off at exactly one garage level, the Forum permits drop-off at all entrances. Your driver puts you where your section is, not where the traffic plan says.
The friction is at the door instead. The Forum runs a strict clear-bag policy, publishes an exclusive welcome list that a backpack does not meet, and — the detail that ruins nights — advertises no on-site bag check. A bag that fails inspection has nowhere to go but back to a car. If you drove yourself and parked in a general lot, that's a fifteen-minute round trip through a crowd. If you rode with EGT, your driver is in the area and it's a phone call.

The math, honestly
Self-driving from San Diego is about a 240-mile round trip. Roughly $76 in gas, or about $174 at the IRS's 2026 all-in rate of 72.5¢ a mile once maintenance, tires and depreciation are counted. Add Forum parking — reported around $35–$55 general, from about $90 preferred — and you're at $210–$265 in true cost, plus four to five hours of your own driving, including the leg back down I-5 after a concert ends near 11pm, with somebody in the car staying sober.
The $400 IQ-L round trip is $80 a seat with five aboard, locked before you leave, nobody driving. Against a ride app it isn't a contest: two 115-mile legs, the second one priced in the worst surge window of the night, with an arena emptying into the same app at the same minute.
