San Diego to Inglewood Car Service — All Four Venues

Inglewood is the West Coast's event capital: four world-class venues inside two square miles, each with its own drop-off point and its own bag policy. EGT runs the San Diego leg door-to-venue-to-door, 100% electric, with your named driver staged for the exit crush.

TL;DR

Event round trips to any Inglewood venue: $300 BMW i7 (up to 2) / $350 Rivian R1S (up to 4) / $400 Escalade IQ-L (up to 5) — marquee dates carry a premium, confirmed at booking. One-way or non-event Inglewood trips are quoted flat when you call — (858) 522-0264. Gratuity and tolls included, no surge, and the driver waits through the show. The four venues do not share a bag policy or a drop-off point — the comparison table below is the part most visitors get wrong.

Four venues, two square miles, four different rulebooks

Inglewood packs SoFi Stadium (NFL, World Cup, stadium tours), the Kia Forum (the concert room), the Intuit Dome (Clippers and arena shows) and YouTube Theater (the 6,000-seat room on the Hollywood Park campus) into a couple of square miles just east of LAX. From San Diego it's the same drive for all four — ~115 miles up the I-5 and the 405, about 2–2.5 hours off-peak.

What isn't the same is everything that happens in the last two miles. Each venue designates a different drop-off point, and — the one that actually turns people away at the gate — each enforces a different bag size. A clear tote that walks into SoFi Stadium will not get you into Intuit Dome. A bag that's fine at YouTube Theater doesn't have to be clear at all.

Verified against each venue's own published policies, August 2026. Bag policies can be tightened per show — always check the event page for your specific date. EGT does not control venue policy; we publish it so you don't find out at the gate.

The Intuit Dome address trap. Intuit Dome's own FAQ lists the shuttle and rideshare garage as "3700 E. Century Blvd" — but East Century Blvd geocodes to South Los Angeles, roughly 15 miles from the arena. The Mobility Hub section of the same site gives the correct location on West 102nd Street. If you're driving yourself, don't paste the FAQ address into a map. If you're riding with us, it's a non-issue — the driver already knows the hub.

Event round-trip rates

Stadium, arena and theater event round trips book at EGT's published baselines — door-to-venue-to-door, driver staged through the show, same rate to all four venues:

VehiclePassengersEvent round tripPer seat, full
BMW i7Up to 2$300$150
Rivian R1SUp to 4$350$88
Cadillac Escalade IQ-LUp to 5$400$80

One-way or non-event Inglewood trips (a hotel drop, a business visit, a venue tour, a Hollywood Park day): quoted flat when you call — (858) 522-0264. No invented numbers, no meter — one flat figure before you book.

The honest math against driving yourself

The pitch for driving is that it's free. It isn't. San Diego to Inglewood and back is about 240 miles. At California pump prices that's roughly $76 in gas — but fuel is the small half. The IRS puts the all-in 2026 cost of operating a vehicle at 72.5¢ a mile (fuel plus maintenance, tires, depreciation), which makes that round trip about $174 in real vehicle cost before you've parked.

Then park. SoFi Stadium prepaid parking commonly runs $66 to $100 by zone. The Kia Forum runs roughly $35–$55 general, from about $90 preferred. YouTube Theater and Intuit Dome price per event, prepaid, with day-of gate rates higher than advance.

So a self-drive night lands near $240–$275 in true cost — and that's the version where you also do four to five hours of driving, including the leg back down I-5 after a show ends at 11pm, and where somebody in the car doesn't drink. The IQ-L round trip is $400 for five people — $80 a seat, locked before you leave San Diego, with nobody at the wheel.

The comparison people actually make, though, isn't against their own car — it's against a ride app. That one isn't close: a 115-mile one-way surge fare, twice, in the worst pricing window of the night, with 70,000 people opening the same app at the same moment. The event-night difference: your car is staged

The postgame problem is identical at all four venues: tens of thousands of people opening a ride app at once. Surge pricing, pin-drop chaos, hour-long waits in a garage. EGT's round trip removes the whole category — your named driver stays in the area through the show and stages for your exit, you walk out to a known car and a known driver, and the flat rate was locked before you left San Diego.

That matters more in Inglewood than almost anywhere else, because the exit is genuinely hostile. Intuit Dome funnels every ride-app pickup through one garage level. SoFi pushes pickup to Kareem Court and Manchester — a walk, at night, with 70,000 other people. Kia Forum sends you a block south to Prairie Ave. Those are fine systems for the venue and miserable systems for you at 11:15pm with a two-hour drive still ahead.

A reasonable stop en route — dinner, a friend's place, a Hollywood Park walk before doors — is included in the round trip.

Venue-by-venue detail

SoFi Stadium — 1001 S Stadium Drive

The big room: Rams, Chargers, the 2026 World Cup, and the stadium concerts that fill Inglewood's biggest nights. This is EGT's most-run Inglewood lane by a wide margin, and it has its own hub with dates, per-event pages and demand intel.

Kia Forum — 3900 W Manchester Boulevard

The 17,500-seat concert room, and the friendliest of the four to arrive at: the Forum permits drop-off at all entrances rather than funneling every car to one point. The catch is on the way in — the welcome list is exclusive enough that a backpack does not qualify, no on-site bag check is published, and every ticket is mobile-only (screenshots and printouts are refused). The venue is fully cashless.

Intuit Dome — 3930 W Century Boulevard

The Clippers' arena, opened 2024, and the most tightly controlled arrival of the four: rideshare and private drop-off happen at the Mobility Hub on the first level of the Standard East Garage, and nowhere else on the property. The bag rule is the strictest in Inglewood — a clutch no bigger than 10″ × 6″ × 2″, with no clear-bag exception.

YouTube Theater — 1011 Stadium Drive

The 6,000-seat room on the Hollywood Park campus, sharing SoFi Stadium's parking geography but running its own zones. Comedy, showcases, awards tapings and mid-size touring acts. The bag rule is the loosest in Inglewood — up to 11″ × 14″, and it doesn't have to be clear. No street parking, no residential parking, no tailgating, and lots close one hour after the show.

Why EGT for the San Diego leg

  • Named driver, confirmed in advance. Not a pool, not a substitution. You know who is driving before you leave.
  • 100% electric fleet — BMW i7, Rivian R1S, Cadillac Escalade IQ-L. Quiet on a 115-mile leg, and quiet matters more on the way home than on the way up.
  • Flat rate, locked. No surge, no event multiplier applied after the fact, no fuel surcharge. Gratuity and tolls in.
  • Owner-operated. The person who answers (858) 522-0264 is accountable for the trip.
  • We sell out. Inglewood dates go early — EGT booked out fully for every World Cup match it served at SoFi, and Karol G's Aug 14 SoFi night closed five weeks ahead, the longest lead on our public log. See the dated sell-out record →

Flying out of LAX instead?

Inglewood sits directly east of LAX — so if your trip is an airport run rather than an event, that's its own flat-rate service at $425 flat from any San Diego County origin: San Diego → LAX car service, the international-flights guide for long-haul departures out of Tom Bradley, and the timing math at when to leave for an early LAX departure. Returns from LAX are a guaranteed, flight-tracked pickup: LAX → San Diego.

Combining both — a show at SoFi and a flight the next morning — is a single plan, not two bookings. Say so when you call.
