How the slots work: each vehicle runs two round trips per event — an early drop and a late drop — so there are a limited number of early and late slots per vehicle. The late-drop party gets a late pickup about 30-45 minutes after the show ends. Slots are confirmed in the order requests arrive; book early. When slots are full, EGT opens a cancellation list.
How Moonlight pricing works — origin-based, not flat citywide
The Moonlight Amphitheatre is in Brengle Terrace Park in Vista — North County San Diego. Because the venue is up the coast, EGT prices the ride by where you start, not by one flat citywide number:
- North County pickup = base rate. If you are already in North County (Carlsbad, Encinitas, Oceanside, San Marcos, Escondido, Vista, and nearby), you are close to the venue, so you pay the published base: non-marquee $60 / $80 / $100, marquee $80 / $100 / $120 (i7 / Rivian R1S / Escalade IQ-L).
- South County pickup = base + $40 per vehicle. If you start in downtown San Diego, South Bay, Chula Vista, National City, or Imperial Beach, it is a long haul up the I-5/SR-78 to Vista, so add $40 per vehicle: non-marquee $100 / $120 / $140, marquee $120 / $140 / $160.
