Friday June 19, 2026 opens NASCAR San Diego Weekend at Naval Base Coronado with the Craftsman Truck Series — but Friday is Navy Community Day, not open to the general public (Navy personnel and limited Coronado residents only). If you have Friday access, EGT runs a flat round trip — $150 BMW i7 / $250 Escalade IQ-L from anywhere in metro San Diego, or the bridge-skipping ferry route. General public: the racing you can attend is Saturday Jun 20 and Sunday Jun 21 — reserve on the weekend hub. Call (858) 522-0264.
This is not a stadium with a parking lot. The course runs inside the security perimeter of Naval Air Station North Island — expect controlled access, security screening, and traffic management across Coronado all weekend. The Coronado Bridge is the main chokepoint, and event traffic stacks on top of normal summer beach traffic. NASCAR has indicated off-base park-and-ride arrangements and recommends arriving early for security delays.
The private-car version: your chauffeur takes the bridge while you're not the one driving, drops you as close as event security allows that day, and stages off-island for the return — pre-booked at a flat rate, so the post-race surge that hits rideshare apps when the crowd leaves one bridgehead never touches you. Staying at the Hotel Del, Loews, or Coronado Marriott? Local Coronado pickups work the same flat-rate way.
Friday is a limited-access Navy Community Day, not the full public crowd. If you're among the Navy personnel or Coronado residents with Friday access, EGT still gets you in and out cleanly — over the bridge or via the bridge-skipping ferry — with the driver staged for your exit; tell us your gate and we time the drop to it. Everyone else: the public race days are Saturday Jun 20 and Sunday Jun 21.

$150 BMW i7 (2) · $250 Escalade IQ-L (up to 5, $50/seat), round trip from anywhere in metro San Diego. One pickup, one drop-off each way — no surge, no bridge stress, no base-area parking hunt.
