TL;DR

Saturday June 20, 2026 is the first public day at Naval Base Coronado — the United Rentals Driven to Serve 250 (O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, 60 laps). Expect security screening and bridge congestion from mid-morning. EGT flat round trip: $150 BMW i7 / $250 Escalade IQ-L from anywhere in metro San Diego. Call (858) 522-0264.

Getting onto a working Navy base is the whole problem

This is not a stadium with a parking lot. The course runs inside the security perimeter of Naval Air Station North Island — expect controlled access, security screening, and traffic management across Coronado all weekend. The Coronado Bridge is the main chokepoint, and event traffic stacks on top of normal summer beach traffic. NASCAR has indicated off-base park-and-ride arrangements and recommends arriving early for security delays.

The private-car version: your chauffeur takes the bridge while you're not the one in the driver's seat, drops you as close as event security allows that day, and stages off-island for the return — pre-booked at a flat rate, so the post-race surge that hits rideshare apps when 50,000 people leave one bridgehead never touches you. Staying at the Hotel Del, Loews, or Coronado Marriott? Local Coronado pickups work the same flat-rate way.

Saturday timing

First public day = the day everyone tests the security perimeter at once. Build in more buffer than you think you need: NASCAR advises arriving early for base security, and the bridge + Orange Avenue stack starts well before gates. Watch NASCARSanDiego.com for published gate times and park-and-ride maps, and tell us your grandstand — we time the drop to it.

Event facts per NASCARSanDiego.com (official), the NASCAR course reveal, and the City of Coronado public information page. Checked . Official parking and transit guidance is still being released — check NASCARSanDiego.com before race day; EGT tracks closures as they publish.

Race weekend, flat rate — driver staged through the checkered flag

$150 BMW i7 (2) · $250 Escalade IQ-L (up to 5, $50/seat), round trip from anywhere in metro San Diego. One pickup, one drop-off each way — no surge, no bridge stress, no base-area parking hunt.
