Omni La Costa’s Champions Course is the home of the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships through 2028 — every May, the best college golfers in America decide their national title on these fairways. It’s a storied tournament property (decades of PGA Tour history) rebuilt into a modern championship test, attached to a resort with the spa-and-pools infrastructure that makes it a natural couples and family base.

Clubs

Championship week
NCAA week each May fills Carlsbad — players’ families, college fans, and scouts stack every hotel from Aviara to the coast. Airport transfers book out early that week; if you’re coming for the championships, lock the SAN legs when you book the room.
