About this show

Luke Combs brings the My Kinda Saturday Night Tour to Petco Park on Saturday, June 26, 2027 — an in-the-round production, with the stage in the centre of the field rather than at one end. Support comes from Treaty Oak Revival, Avery Anna, Shenandoah and Wyatt McCubbin. Tickets went on sale to the general public on after an August 19 presale, so this room has been selling for months before the date.

In the round changes the ride home. A centre stage seats the crowd on all four sides and empties the bowl through every gate at once instead of funnelling it toward one end of the park — the Gaslamp and East Village fill from several directions in the same ten minutes. That is the argument for being collected off the stadium apron rather than against it, which is how we run every Petco night.

Concert night at Petco Park — sharper than a game night

A Padres crowd trickles out from the seventh inning on. A concert crowd leaves together — one encore, one wave, every rideshare and parking garage hit at the same minute. The downtown special-event meter zone ($10/hour across ~200 blocks) applies to major Petco Park events, and A full-stadium Petco show (40,000+) is the biggest one-wave exit downtown sees — every garage, meter and rideshare zone hits capacity in the same twenty minutes.

EGT's play: drop at Lou & Mickey’s (224 Fifth Ave) before the show, driver staged downtown during the set, and a pickup at the same door that rolls the moment you text. Nobody walks into the rideshare lot or the garage queue, and no surge on the way home.

Flying in for the show?

Stadium-scale concerts at Petco draw fans from out of town. EGT covers the whole trip, not just the venue: SAN airport pickup when you land, your Gaslamp or downtown hotel, and the round trip to the show, all with one operator, flat rates, a named driver, and no surge.

Out-of-town and planning by phone? Call or text (858) 522-0264 and an owner walks you through airport timing, hotel-to-venue, and the post-show exit before you book.

Getting home after a stadium show — and why we keep getting faster at it

Direct answer: a full Petco Park show empties in one wave. Downtown’s special-event meter zone runs $10 an hour across roughly 200 blocks on major event nights, the garages queue in both directions, and the rideshare apps price the same ten minutes everyone else wants. A pre-booked round trip takes you out of that auction: your driver is staged downtown during the set, you text when you stand up, and the wait is already inside the flat rate.

What EGT does on a show night

  1. Curb drop on Fifth Avenue at the Gaslamp gates — not the two curbs the ballpark publishes for private cars, which sit against the stadium and jam for exactly that reason. You walk in through the Gaslamp while that queue is still crawling.
  2. The driver stages downtown on a moving street grid, clear of the Park Boulevard crush, and is rolling before the house lights are up.
  3. You text when you stand up, not when you reach the curb. That head start is the whole game.
  4. One named driver, named in advance. The same person who dropped you takes you home — no app roulette at 11 PM.
  5. The wait is already paid for. No meter, no waiting charge if the encore runs long, no surge.

Demand proof — all four BTS nights at SoFi

The hardest version of this problem is a stadium show 125 miles away. BTS played a four-night ARIRANG stand at SoFi Stadium on , , and , and EGT ran all four nights — one rider took the opening pair back to back in the BMW i7, another rode the Saturday in the Rivian R1S, a third closed it out on the Sunday — round trips from San Diego with the wait included, every party home the same night. Saturday’s was collected at 11 PM. Petco is twelve minutes from most of this city; same method, none of the distance.

We are constantly optimising the return

Every event night gets logged: where the driver staged, how long the exit actually took, which street moved first and which meeting point worked. That is why the plan you get is not generic advice about leaving early — it is what worked at this venue on the most recent comparable night, and it gets a little better every show.

Booking the return matters more than booking the ride. Call or text (858) 522-0264 — an owner answers and the flat rate is locked before you hang up.

Date already sold out? Sold out means that date, not the calendar — and cancellations do happen. Join the cancellation list and we call you first when a vehicle frees up. Every EGT sell-out is logged, dated, on the public sell-out record — that is why booking the next date early is the move. Call or text (858) 522-0264.
