A million-plus visitors over four weeks funnel into the same I-5/Via de la Valle interchange that race fans know — then queue for paid on-site lots or ride the free park-and-ride bus from Torrey Pines High School. Either way you're walking or waiting on both ends of an 11-hour Fair day. EGT drops you at the gate, the driver returns when you call it a night, and the rate was locked when you booked — concert night, July 4 week, doesn't matter.
