Bowl week in Mission Valley — what actually happens
Snapdragon Stadium (2101 Stadium Way) is a clear-bag, prepaid-parking venue: there are no walk-up parking sales, and the MTS Green Line trolley — the venue’s own recommended option — funnels the whole crowd through one Stadium station platform after the final whistle. Friars Road and the I-8/I-15 interchange take the rest of the load at once.
Bowl crowds are different from a home game: two visiting fan bases, most of them staying in Gaslamp, Mission Valley, Mission Bay or La Jolla hotels, almost none with a car they know, and a kickoff in the middle of the holiday week when the apps are thin and surging.
