Traveling with kids or a crew? EGT does not supply car seats — parents bring their own. Here's how California's restraint law works, what to tell us when you book, and why a pre-arranged car still beats wrangling rideshare with a family.

EGT does not supply car seats — parents bring their own. California requires an age- and size-appropriate child restraint, and car services are not exempt, so the seat has to be in the vehicle either way. What a pre-arranged ride gives you is the right vehicle and unhurried time to install it: the Cadillac Escalade IQ-L seats up to five with luggage and has LATCH anchor points, and your named driver arrives early rather than idling in a rideshare queue. Car seats: bring your own
- EGT does not provide child seats. We don't own, store, or install them. Parents bring their own seat — the one your child already fits and you've already installed correctly.
- Tell us in advance: share your children's ages and the number of seats when you book, so the right vehicle is assigned and there's time built in to install without the curbside rush.
- Safe & legal: California law requires age/size-appropriate child restraints, and the exemptions do not cover car services, limousines, or rideshare — the requirement applies to your ride with us.
- The vehicle helps: the Escalade IQ-L offers LATCH anchor points and long-wheelbase legroom that make installing an infant base or convertible seat straightforward. Your driver assists with positioning and stowing; the parent installs and tightens per the manufacturer's instructions.
