Frontwave Arena (3475 Hero Dr, Oceanside) is North County's first big indoor arena — opened September 2024, up to 7,500 for concerts, home to the Clippers G League, Sockers, and Strike Force. Both lots drain onto one road, Rancho del Oro Drive, so the post-event exit is the pinch point, and parking is a paid, per-event pass that can sell out. Frontwave Arena sits in Oceanside's El Corazon district, a couple of miles inland off I-5 and SR-78. The building is new and easy; the traffic design is the catch. Both lots — Lot A (premium/VIP + ADA off La Bounty Dr) and Lot B (general off Senior Center Dr) — funnel back onto Rancho del Oro Drive through roundabouts, so the entire crowd hits one corridor within the same twenty minutes after the show. That's also when every rideshare app surges hardest, and lots close about an hour after the event.
