Getting onto a working Navy base is the whole problem
This is not a stadium with a parking lot. The course runs inside the security perimeter of Naval Air Station North Island — expect controlled access, security screening, and traffic management across Coronado all weekend. The Coronado Bridge is the main chokepoint, and event traffic stacks on top of normal summer beach traffic. NASCAR has indicated off-base park-and-ride arrangements and recommends arriving early for security delays.

Bring required ID for base access. Because the course is inside a federal military base (Naval Air Station North Island), NASCAR San Diego requires every guest 18 and older to carry a government-issued ID (U.S. citizens) or a passport (foreign nationals) — bring it alongside your race ticket.
