If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you specific rights over your personal information. You may exercise any of these rights at no charge, and EGT will not deny service or charge a different price because you exercised them.
The rights you can exercise
- Right to know: what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, and the categories of third parties we share it with.
- Right to delete: request that we delete personal information we have about you, subject to legal exceptions (e.g., active disputes, tax records).
- Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: EGT does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — but you may submit a confirmation request.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: request that we limit our use of sensitive personal information beyond what is reasonably necessary to provide our service.
- Right of non-discrimination: EGT will not retaliate against you for exercising any of these rights.
How to submit your request
The fastest method is email. Submit a request to support@elitegreentransportation.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". Include in the body:
- Your full legal name;
- The email address associated with your EGT account (or the phone number you have used to book rides);
- The specific right you are exercising (know, delete, correct, opt out, or limit use of sensitive information);
- Any additional detail that helps us identify the relevant records (e.g., approximate booking dates if your request relates to specific rides).

What happens next
- Identity verification (1-3 business days): We will verify your identity using information already on file. Typically this means matching your account email plus a second confirmable detail (a recent booking date, the phone number on file, or another piece of information you provided previously). We do this to prevent unauthorized access to your information.
- Processing (within 45 days): Once verified, we will respond to your request within 45 days, with one permitted 45-day extension if needed for complex requests. We will notify you if an extension is required.
- Delivery: Responses to "right to know" requests will be delivered electronically (PDF or CSV depending on the type of data) to the verified email address. Other responses will be confirmed in writing.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you, and EGT may require additional verification before processing the request.
For non-California residents
If you are not a California resident, you may still submit a privacy request and we will respond on a reasonable best-efforts basis. The CCPA/CPRA rights described above are California-specific; residents of other states or countries may have different rights under their applicable laws, which EGT will honor where required.
