TL;DR

$500 flat, round trip, any vehicle — BMW i7 (2) · Rivian R1S (up to 4) · Cadillac Escalade IQ-L (up to 6). About 260 miles round trip. Tolls, and the driver waiting at the venue are all inside the number. No surge, no parking, no second fare home. Fill the Escalade IQ-L and it is about $83 a seat.

The short answer: a private round trip from San Diego to the Rose Bowl is $500 flat in any Elite Green Transportation vehicle. That is the whole price for the whole night — up the 5 or the 15, curb drop at the Arroyo, your driver parked and waiting through the event, and the same car home to your door. Nobody in your group loses the night to driving, and nobody opens a rideshare app at 11:40pm outside a 92,000-seat stadium.

Flat round-trip rates — locked at booking

One price per vehicle, not per person. The vehicle is the same commitment for us whichever one you pick — same 260 miles, same driver, same night — so the price does not change, only the number of seats you fill.

Included: pickup anywhere in metro San Diego, the drive both ways, the driver staged at the stadium through the event, tolls, and the wait. There is no hourly meter, no waiting charge, no fuel surcharge and no surge — the rate is fixed when you book.

Rate published and held for every Rose Bowl event. Six-passenger figure reflects the Escalade IQ-L's captain's-chair configuration.

The math against driving yourself

OptionReal cost from San DiegoThe honest trade-off
Drive and park yourselfRose Bowl event parking plus roughly $45–$75 of fuel for ~260 milesCheapest on paper. Someone gives up the event to drive, parks on a golf course in the dark, and then drives two hours home after midnight.
Uber / Lyft~$150–$250+ each way, surge after the final whistleYou pay it twice and gamble on a pickup inside a 92,000-person exodus on residential Pasadena streets.
Amtrak / Metrolink plus the A Line~$45–$90 round trip per person, plus transfersWorkable northbound. The return timetable does not survive an event that ends late, so realistically it is one-way plus a hotel.
Drive up and stay over~$250–$450 hotel plus parking and fuelOnly worth it if you wanted a Pasadena weekend anyway.
Elite Green Transportation$500 flat round trip, any vehicleNo surge, no parking, no second fare. Door-to-curb both ways, all-electric, and everyone in the car gets the whole night.

The break-even is about four people. At four you are at $125 a seat — under a single surged rideshare leg — and nobody has to stay sober, navigate the 210, or remember where the car is parked.

Getting out of the Arroyo Seco — the part nobody plans for

The Rose Bowl sits in the bottom of the Arroyo Seco, a canyon with a small number of exits onto residential Pasadena streets. It is a beautiful place to watch a game and a genuinely difficult place to leave. Post-event egress regularly runs an hour or more before traffic reaches the 210, and that is before anyone tries to summon a rideshare into it.

What we actually do on an event night

  • Departure time is set backwards from your event, not from a map estimate — Saturday traffic on the 5 and the 405 is priced into the plan.
  • Curb drop as close to your gate as the event's traffic plan allows that night.
  • The driver stays staged for the whole event. You are not requesting a car at the end; it already exists and it already knows where you are.
  • A named pickup point agreed before you go in, chosen for that night's road closures rather than a pin dropped in a crowd.
  • Your driver texts you their position as the event ends so you walk to the car, not to a queue.

This is the whole argument for booking a round trip rather than two one-ways. The expensive part of a Rose Bowl night is not getting there.

Where you are actually going: Pasadena, not "LA"

People book this trip thinking of it as a run to Los Angeles. It is not. The Rose Bowl is at 1001 Rose Bowl Drive in Pasadena, at the north-east edge of the county, and the route that matters is the 5 to the 110 or the 210 rather than anything through downtown LA. It is a different drive, a different traffic pattern, and a different exit problem from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.

That matters for the return. Pasadena's stadium access runs through residential streets with limited staging, which is why a pre-positioned car with a named pickup point beats an app every time on a full-stadium night.

100% electric, the whole 260 miles

Every Elite Green Transportation vehicle is battery-electric — BMW i7 eDrive50, Rivian R1S, Cadillac Escalade IQ-L. There is no hybrid tier and no gas fallback, so the entire round trip is zero-tailpipe. Charging on the route is our problem, not yours, and it is planned into the schedule rather than improvised.

Why San Diegans book us for this run

  • One flat price, published. $500 round trip, any vehicle. It is on this page, it does not move, and it is locked when you book.
  • One company, start to finish. We hold California TCP #0046494-A, own the cars and employ the driver. Your driver is confirmed by name in advance. Nothing is auctioned to a third party.
  • The wait is inside the price. No hourly meter on a four-hour event.
  • Up to six in one car. The Escalade IQ-L seats six in captain's chairs — one vehicle, one price, no convoy.
  • $1.5M commercial liability and a 5.0 Google rating.
