What is EGT Reserve?

EGT Reserve is the iOS and Android app for Elite Green Transportation — San Diego's 100% electric licensed luxury car service. The app shows the flat-rate price before you book. No dynamic pricing. No surge. No fare estimate that becomes a higher final fare.

Drivers are TCP-licensed EGT staff, not gig contractors. The fleet is all-electric — BMW i7 xDrive60, Rivian R1S, Cadillac Escalade IQ-L. When your ride is confirmed, the app shows the named driver and the specific vehicle assigned before pickup — not when the driver starts moving.

EGT Reserve is waitlist-only at public launch and capped at 300 members at launch. Future expansion is paced to EGT's operational capacity to maintain service standards. Waitlist position is first-come, first-served within each phase.

Self-service ride changes while pre-dispatch: add a stop, change pickup time, cancel without fee. The concierge layer is in the app, not on a phone tree. Phone support remains available 24/7.

Member pricing visible at quote time — not a separate upsell.

EGT 1K Rewards members see their discounted rate inline with the standard rate at the moment of quote. The $50 zone fare drops to $40 instantly. The list price ($95) and member price ($77) appear side by side. No "join now" interstitial. The discount is the receipt.

Is EGT Reserve live yet?

The Alpha build is in internal testing — iOS via TestFlight, Android via direct .APK distribution. Public release on the App Store and Google Play is scheduled following Alpha and Beta cycles. Waitlist signups happen now; invitations go out in waitlist-submission order.

Why is membership capped at 300 at launch?

EGT is a boutique service, not a marketplace. Owner-answered phones, named drivers, and same-day flat-rate quotes only work at scales where the operator can hold the line on hospitality. 300 is the launch ceiling at which EGT can guarantee its service standard from day one. Future expansion is paced to operational capacity — when EGT can deliver the same hospitality at the next phase, the next seats open. We will not grow ahead of our ability to serve members at the standard they expect.

Does using EGT Reserve cost more than calling EGT?

No. The same flat-rate zone pricing applies. 1K Rewards member pricing applies the same way. The app is a different surface for the same service — not a premium tier.

What if I don't want to use the app?

Phone booking remains available 24/7 at (858) 585-6957. The phone line is owner-answered. Members can switch between app and phone booking without penalty or distinction.

What happens after I join the waitlist?

You receive a confirmation email. As public launch approaches and Alpha/Beta cycles complete, EGT sends invitations in waitlist-submission order. Invitations include the App Store / Play Store links and your member onboarding information.
