None of them is easy to leave by car at 11 PM. Every way to get there, priced straight
- Drive and park: works at 6:30 PM; the cost is the 30–60 minutes it takes to get out of the fairgrounds lot at 11 PM, or the Cedros street-parking hunt in Solana Beach.
- Rideshare: fine inbound; outbound is surge pricing at the exact minute 1,900 people open their phones in the same lot.
- Train: genuinely good to the Belly Up (two blocks from Solana Beach station) — and our honest concession: if a late train aligns with your show, it is the cheapest ride home. Check the timetable; most nights it will not, and The Sound has no stop at all. On Sep 12–13 no Surfliner trains run at all, with no bus bridges.
