Direct answer: getting to Día De Los Deftones at Petco Park on November 7, 2026
Día De Los Deftones returns to Petco Park on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Per the Padres’ event page, the 7th annual festival’s lineup is Deftones, The Neighbourhood, AFI, Bktherula, Jehnny Beth, Converge, Ladrones, Lip Critic and LustSickPuppy, on two stages — one on the playing field and a second in Gallagher Square. It is a full-venue event, so all gates open for entry — Gaslamp Gate at K & 7th, East Village Gate at K & 10th, Park Boulevard Gate at 10th & Park Blvd, and Home Plate Gate at Park Blvd & Tony Gwynn Dr.
Set times: not yet published by the Padres as of September 8. Festival days at Petco typically open in the early afternoon and run into the night; the Padres post gate and set times on the event page closer to the date — your driver confirms the pickup plan with you the day before.
Elite Green Transportation runs a flat round trip from anywhere in San Diego County: $150 BMW i7 (up to 2), $200 Rivian R1S (up to 4), or $250 Cadillac Escalade IQ-L (up to 5 — $50 a seat). Locked at booking, no surge, no parking pass, and your named driver stages through the show. Call (858) 522-0264.
No Padres game — the baseball season is over and the ballpark is in concert configuration. It is the last Petco Park show of 2026.
The weekend context. San Diego FC plays its MLS Decision Day match at Snapdragon Stadium the same day (time per the club), Fleet Week San Diego runs November 6–15 along the Embarcadero, and NCTD lists a coastal track-work window November 7–8 — check the Coaster and Surfliner advisories if anyone in your party planned to ride in.
Date, lineup and two-stage format per the Padres’ official event page. Checked .
TL;DR
Día De Los Deftones (7th annual) — Deftones, The Neighbourhood, AFI, Converge and more — Petco Park, Saturday November 7, 2026, full stadium, two stages — all gates open. EGT flat round trip from anywhere in San Diego County: $150 BMW i7 (2 passengers), $200 Rivian R1S (up to 4), $250 Escalade IQ-L (up to 5, $50 per seat). Dropped and collected on Fifth Avenue at the Gaslamp gates — not the rideshare queue across Harbor Drive — by the same named driver after the headliner. One round trip per vehicle per show. The drop-off most people get wrong at Petco Park
The Padres publish two different arrival instructions, on two different pages, and almost every guide quotes only the first.
Rideshare — Uber, Lyft and taxi — is directed to a loading zone “across the street from the Bayfront Hilton Hotel (next to the Convention Center) on Harbor Drive and Park Boulevard,” with fans told to “take the pedestrian sky bridge towards Petco Park.” That is a quarter mile plus a bridge, in both directions, and after a stadium concert it is where several thousand people queue for the same cars.
Private vehicles get a different, closer curb. The Padres’ own “Getting to Petco Park by Car” page states: “On the west side of the ballpark, guests may utilize 6th Avenue and K Street. On the east side of the ballpark, guests may utilize 10th Avenue and Park Boulevard.” A chauffeured car is a private vehicle.
Where EGT recommends being dropped. Not at the ballpark — on Fifth Avenue at the gates of the Gaslamp, by Lou & Mickey's (224 Fifth Avenue), then a short walk in through the Gaslamp. The two curbs the Padres publish for private vehicles both sit against the stadium, which is exactly why they jam: every private car wants the same few metres at the same ten minutes. Fifth Avenue sits outside that. You are out and walking while the queue is still crawling — and afterwards your car is already on a moving street grid instead of waiting for the Park Boulevard crush to clear. Prefer to be set down at the gate and happy to wait for it? Ask, and we will use 6th & K.
This is EGT operating practice, not a Padres instruction — their official private-vehicle zones (10th Avenue & Park Boulevard, 6th Avenue & K Street) are mapped on our Petco Park guide. Lou & Mickey's is named as a landmark only, per the restaurant's own published address, 224 Fifth Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101; EGT has no affiliation with it and does not use its valet. Checked .
What changes after the encore is whether a specific vehicle and a specific driver are already parked there waiting for you. That is the entire difference on a 40,000-person exit.

Festival-day plan from around San Diego
A two-stage festival is a long day with a staggered arrival and a single exit — everyone leaves after the Deftones. Until the Padres publish set times, plan by drive allowance rather than clock time, and aim to be at the gate 60–90 minutes before the first set you care about.
| Coming from | Allow (Saturday afternoon) | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Downtown / Little Italy / Hillcrest | 15 – 25 min | Park Blvd and the East Village grid tighten from about an hour before the gates. |
| La Jolla / UTC / Coronado | 30 – 40 min | The bottleneck is the last half mile, not the freeway. |
| Del Mar / Carmel Valley | 40 – 50 min | Fleet Week traffic along the Embarcadero that weekend. |
| Carlsbad / Encinitas / North County | 55 – 75 min | Check the Coaster/Surfliner advisories — NCTD lists a coastal track-work window Nov 7–8. |
| Chula Vista / South Bay | 30 – 40 min | I-5 north into downtown moves well on a Saturday afternoon. |
Your driver confirms the exact pickup time with you the day before and tracks conditions the day of. If the headline set runs long, nothing changes on your end — the car is staged and there is no meter running.
What it actually costs, honestly compared
| Option | Real cost for a group of 5 | The trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Drive & park | Event-rate parking, and it cannot be prepaid within 4 hours of the show | Someone stays sober, and you sit in the East Village exit. The Padres publish no parking prices, so you are price-taking on the night. |
| Uber / Lyft | Two fares, and the return is the worst surge window of the night | You are sent to the Harbor Drive queue across the sky bridge with thousands of others. |
| MTS Trolley | $3.00 each way from October 1, 2026 (MTS fare change); day pass per MTS | Genuinely the best option if you live near a line and the last train works for you. Most lines stop between about 11:00 PM and 12:07 AM — check before you rely on it. |
| EGT Escalade IQ-L (5 seats) | $250 flat round trip — $50 a seat | Drop and pickup on Fifth Avenue at the Gaslamp gates, named driver staged through the show, leave when you want. |
The honest concession: if you are one person living a few blocks from a trolley stop, take the trolley — it drops you within a block. A flat-rate car wins for groups of three to five, for anyone coming from the coast or North County, and for any night where nobody wants to be the designated driver.
Flying in for the show?
Plenty of fans fly into San Diego (SAN) for a stadium date and stay downtown or at the beach. EGT runs the airport transfer and the concert round trip on the same flat-rate model, with the same named driver where scheduling allows — no rental car, no parking pass, no app.
One round trip per vehicle per show
$150 BMW i7 (2) · $200 Rivian R1S (up to 4) · $250 Escalade IQ-L (up to 5, $50 a seat), flat, round trip from anywhere in San Diego County. First-come, first-served — stadium dates at Petco have closed early all season.

What time does it start? Set times had not been published by the Padres as of September 8, 2026. Festival days at Petco typically open in the early afternoon; the Padres post gate and set times on the event page closer to the date.
Who is playing? Per the Padres' event page: Deftones, The Neighbourhood, AFI, Bktherula, Jehnny Beth, Converge, Ladrones, Lip Critic and LustSickPuppy, on two stages — the playing field and Gallagher Square.
Is this a full-stadium show or Gallagher Square? Full stadium — the festival uses both the playing field and Gallagher Square, so all gates open for entry. Stand-alone Gallagher Square shows, by contrast, enter only at the Balboa Gate on J Street.
Where will you drop us off? On Fifth Avenue at the gates of the Gaslamp, by Lou & Mickey's (224 Fifth Ave) — a short walk in to the ballpark, outside the Park Boulevard and 10th Avenue queue and nothing to do with the rideshare zone across Harbor Drive. Same spot after the encore. Prefer the Padres' published private-vehicle curb at 6th & K? Ask, and we will use it.
What can I bring in? A single-compartment clear plastic bag no bigger than 12″×6″×12″, or a clutch no bigger than 5″×7″. At concerts the Padres allow no food or beverage at all, including factory-sealed water. Individual shows can be stricter than the standing policy — check the event page.
Is there a Padres game that day? No — the baseball season is over; Petco Park is in concert configuration.
What if the show runs late? Nothing changes for you. The driver is staged and waiting; there is no meter and no surge window.
