How you actually get the car — and the airport rule nobody tells you
The rule: since June 30, 2024, Turo prohibits hosts from handing over vehicles anywhere on San Diego International Airport property — roadways, terminal curbs, parking lots, all of it. Only three US airports carry this restriction, and SAN is one. Anyone advertising a Turo car handed to you inside SAN is either mistaken or about to get you both fined.
